MONITORING TECHNICIAN
SYNED has a position for a Monitoring Technician. Reporting to the Digital Satellite Centre Manager, he/she will be responsible for the following:
- Monitoring in the digital satellite facilities
- Trouble shooting and repair of operational faults
- Implementation of emergency procedures
- Liaise with MCH departments and with TV Channels
Candidates must have the following skills / experience:
- TEI or equivalent degree in Electronics or Telecommunications
- At least two years of experience in a related field
- Digital communication networks experience and familiarity with audio/video signals (analogue and digital) will be considered a big plus
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of UNIX
- Knowledge of both Greek and English languages
- Good communications skills
- Familiarity with Internet
- Availability to work on shifts
