SYSTEMS & DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
Multichoice has a position for a Systems and Database Administrator. Reporting to the Information Systems & Network Manager, he/she will be responsible for:
- Design, development and delivery of IT solutions, according to business objectives
- Ensure the availability and day-to-day operation of the Group’s applications & database systems
- General and advanced Windows Server system management and administration
- Responding to and tracking escalated incidents and issues in a courteous, timely manner while maintaining the day-to-day operations of all internal/external production Windows services
- Configuration, management and support of Windows 2003 Active Directory, Print & File services, Terminal services, IIS 5/6.X or higher, Microsoft Exchange and SQL clusters.
- centralized Antivirus, AntiSpyWare and Spam filters.
- Ensure systems information security
Candidates must have the following skills/experience:
- Degree in Computer Science
- 4 years experience in a similar position
- MCSE Certification (Windows 2003 Active Directory)
- Experience managing Exchange and SQL clusters
- In-depth knowledge and experience using IIS 5/6.X (3+years)
- HP Blade Server/Storage experience an Asset
- Current Microsoft Certification recommended (MCSA/MCSE)
- Very good command of English language
- Great verbal, written and interpersonal skills
